Gregory Upchurch

Greg is an accomplished trial attorney who has argued patent and trademark cases in all levels of the state and federal court systems. In addition, Greg is the author of a three-volume treatise on intellectual property litigation published by West Group, and numerous articles in a variety of legal publications. Listed in the Best Lawyers in America since 1997 and in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, he has achieved an AV Peer Review rating (the highest ranking) from Martindale-Hubbell.

Greg is past chair of the Legal Education Committee and the Editorial Board of the Missouri Bar. He is a recipient of the Missouri Bar President's Award, and was appointee to the Missouri Department of Higher Education in 2005 by Governor Matt Blunt. Greg is the founder and CEO of LegalMetric, Inc., a firm dedicated to the analysis of federal litigation.

Greg has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of patent litigation, from filing through appeal. He is recognized in the field, having written a three volume work on patent and trade secret litigation for a major legal publisher (Thomson West, 1995 to date). He has practiced patent litigation in major firms in New York City and St. Louis, and is an Adjunct Professor at Washington University Law School.
